O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree....

For those who may be interested, I've posted just a few pictures of our Christmas decorations. I have yet to complete them. Trying to fluff garland and hang lights with a kitten and puppy around can prove to be quite a chore at times!

Thanksgiving Day

Hope everyones Thanksgiving was just what you expected! Our day was spent cooking, cleaning and getting ready for our guests to arrive. Dinner was set for 6pm due to some flying into Orlando in the afternoon.

By the time everyone arrived we had a whopping 14 people in our little house. Needless to say, we all got to know each other a little better! I had strongly hinted to Andy about how fun it would be to go ahead and get the christmas tree out and set up that morning, but he quickly imformed me I needed to wait til that evening. Its a good thing we did wait since the house was crowed enough let alone having a tree in the equation!

By the way, if anyone would like to stop by for a snack......we have tons of food left over! I think everyone must have left their appetites at home! I'm positive it wasn't my cooking!

Anyways, we all left the table stuffed to the gills and quite content. For my first thanksgiving dinner; i think it was a success. The talk soon turned to Black Friday! All of us shoppers know what that means.......sales, sales, sales and more sales! So much fun getting up at 3:30 - 4:00 to go stand in line! It has become sort of a tradition with my mom and I; provides an excellent time of bonding to stand in line huddled together trying to keep warm! This year I decided to stay home and bond with my warm bed instead. Yes.....I'm sure I missed some great deals, but then if you don't know what was on sale its not so bad after all!!!!
To all of you shoppers who braved the vulchers, hope you came away with everything you set out for!

Don't get jealous of their dancing skills. You could be just as good!

I thought this was too funny; especially at the expense of others. Yes, i know thats not very fair to the victims, but its still fun! Enjoy!!!!

Daisy Mae Heintzelman

Yes, we've again added another little one to the family.......this one being in the form of an adorable yellow lab. Andy has yearned for a little doggie to call his own for quite some time. He is now the the proud owner of a little girl! With a kitten and a puppy; its like having two kids in the house! Andy says its good practice for us, but i'm not so sure i was quite ready for that yet. That will come soon enough!! My only consolation is that it wont last forever......she will soon be a well trained doggy! Fingers crossed.

Christmas Cards......

Last night I attended a Stampin-Up workshop. We were given the materials need to make and assemble these cards. It was very enjoyable and made the itch to get my stuff back out even worse! I love to scrap, make cards, gift bags and anything else that involves adding your own personal touch. Since I've been married my priorities have changed a bit, therefore i haven't done much in that area for a while!
The only bad part about the workshop was, the layout was already set so we couldn't really personalize it a whole lot. Besides that it was a lot of fun!
Enjoy!

Computer Buddy

One of Shadow's moments of being an angel!

It seems Andy has found himself a new computer buddy! Shadow seems to think he needs to be in the same place as us at all times; including bed! When he's not busy trying to attack your feet, he is wanting to be in your lap. What a baby he's turning out to be! His new thing is climbing human legs. Does not feel the greatest and can be extremely hard on the clothing!

'Pickin -n-Grinnin'

A week ago we had some friends over for an evening of fun and of course, food! Any time these guys get together they have to pull out the fiddles, guitars, banjos etc. and have a jam session. They can be quite entertaining at times!
