Bad Dream????

On Valentines Day Andy informed me that he had purchased tickets for Ohio! What a pleasant suprise! He had been planning this trip for quite some time.

We were scheduled to fly out of Orlando on Friday night and arrive in Dayton two hours later. When we tried to check in we discovered our flight had been canceled due to no flight crew! (kind of a nessecity)!! They put us on another flight with a connection in Atlanta putting us two hours behind our original scheduled arrival. We made it to Atlanta; scheduled to leave at 11:57pm. Finally on our way to Dayton! We were about half way there when pilot comes on and tells us an indicator light has come on and maintance wants us to come back to Atlanta! Not exactly what we were wanting to hear at 12:30pm. We headed back and were approaching the runway when pilot informed us that due to heavy fog; visibilty was nothing and the auto-pilot wasn't working therefore, we would have to land in Burmingham, AL! Of course, by the time we get there that airport is closed so that means we all had to sit in the plane on the runway and wait for two buses to come pick everyone up. Buses finally arrived after an hour and we made the 2 1/2 hr trip back to Atlanta to catch another plane to Dayton. We eventually made it to Dayton at 9:30am. What was supposed to take two hours turned into 15!! We are to be getting a letter in mail informing us of our compensation. It better be good! Needless to say, sitting for 15 hours straight was no fun for this pregnant lady. My back still aches!

Anyways, it was still good to be home and to see everyone again. Looking forward to June!

Me
My handsome hubby!
The past week has been a bad/good one; if that makes any sense! Last wed. I started to catch what felt like a cold. Getting a cold is not on my list as a pleasant thing to experience. I soon found out that its even worse when you're pregnant! No fun at all!!

We had been planning on going to Hobe Sound for the weekend and I really didn't want to give that up. SO, cold and all we made the trip. We enjoyed our stay although, my cold di put a slight damper on things for me.

On saturday afternoon Andy and I made our escape to the beach. The public beach was overly crowded so we decided to drive through Jupiter Island to Blowing Rock beach(a more secluded less crowded area). Only one problem, you now have to pay a small fee per person for the privacy. Not a problem if you're prepared! We were not. Between the two of us we scraped together a $2 bill and $2 in change; hoping that would be enough to get us in. When we presented the lady with our "gift" she decided it was too much trouble to count the change and let us in for $2!!! So now we were a happy little couple on our way to the beach!!

We headed home on Sunday afternoon with a tired Andy and a very miserable me. Thank goodness monday was Presidents Day therefore, I had the day off to spend in bed trying to recoup. I am happy to say I am now on the mend! Finally!!

My most recent visit to the doctor was last friday and i am happy to report that "baby" is healthy and growing with a strong heartbeat of 141! So........boy or girl???!

Let me introduce you to my 2 fairly new little charges. Luke is 3 and his new little sister Sarah is a little over a month old. I am babysitting them at their home two days a week until April. It not only provides some extra money to spend on baby, but also gives me some up to date experience on a baby!
