News Flash!!!!

A preview of whats to come!

My little bump!!!

Yes this is major news for the Heintzelman/Downer clan; and also for all of our friends and extended family!

May 20th we plan to welcome a new little one into our home. We are both very excited to meet this new little person! We plan to wait until delivery to find out if its a boy or girl. Andy is hoping for a boy & i'm fine either way.

Christmas weekend was the weekend for us to spill our news. I knew I wouldn't be able to hide it from my mom, since she hadn't seen me in four months so at the airport I pulled out the ultrasound pictures and handed them to her in an envelope on the way to baggage claim. She had alredy been "checking" me out and thought i had gained some wieght! Needless to say, they were both extremely excited and of course, dad couldn't hold back the tears.

On Sunday morning we broke the news to Andy's family. Of course, some of them already wondered if I was!

Below are a few pictures to enjoy. The ultrasound picture is a little blurred since i tried to take a picture of it, but you can still see the head and little nose.

Happy New Year!

Andy's family dropped by on their way to summerfield to open gifts, then off to aunt Esther's place for a yummy christmas dinner and lots of fun!

Its so hard to believe another Christmas has come and gone! It seems the older I get, the faster time goes!

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree....

For those who may be interested, I've posted just a few pictures of our Christmas decorations. I have yet to complete them. Trying to fluff garland and hang lights with a kitten and puppy around can prove to be quite a chore at times!

Thanksgiving Day

Hope everyones Thanksgiving was just what you expected! Our day was spent cooking, cleaning and getting ready for our guests to arrive. Dinner was set for 6pm due to some flying into Orlando in the afternoon.

By the time everyone arrived we had a whopping 14 people in our little house. Needless to say, we all got to know each other a little better! I had strongly hinted to Andy about how fun it would be to go ahead and get the christmas tree out and set up that morning, but he quickly imformed me I needed to wait til that evening. Its a good thing we did wait since the house was crowed enough let alone having a tree in the equation!

By the way, if anyone would like to stop by for a snack......we have tons of food left over! I think everyone must have left their appetites at home! I'm positive it wasn't my cooking!

Anyways, we all left the table stuffed to the gills and quite content. For my first thanksgiving dinner; i think it was a success. The talk soon turned to Black Friday! All of us shoppers know what that means.......sales, sales, sales and more sales! So much fun getting up at 3:30 - 4:00 to go stand in line! It has become sort of a tradition with my mom and I; provides an excellent time of bonding to stand in line huddled together trying to keep warm! This year I decided to stay home and bond with my warm bed instead. Yes.....I'm sure I missed some great deals, but then if you don't know what was on sale its not so bad after all!!!!
To all of you shoppers who braved the vulchers, hope you came away with everything you set out for!

Don't get jealous of their dancing skills. You could be just as good!

I thought this was too funny; especially at the expense of others. Yes, i know thats not very fair to the victims, but its still fun! Enjoy!!!!
