We're here!

Alas, we are finally in Gatlinburg with mom and dad for a week of relaxation! Andy and two of his sisters brought Chastity and i up to TN to meet up with mom and dad on Saturday. Unfortunately, a week with my parents also meant a week away from my hubby! NO FUN!!! This is our first time to be separated since we've been married, and i'm not one bit fond of it! Its only been a day and i'm homesick for him already! While i plan to enjoy the week with my parents, i also can't wait for Andy to come back on Friday. Anyways, enough of the "tears" for now. My next few post will most likely be lots of pictures of our week here so i hope you don't tire of Gatlinburg!

Coupon junkie!

Just had to share with you my bargains for the day! I was so pleased with this shopping trip! I was especially thrilled to find Kraft shredded cheese for a dollar a bag! What a steal.

I ended up paying $31.00 oop for $78.00 worth of groceries. Woohoo!!! Of course, that was after $46.00 in coupons! Thank the Lord for good ole coupons. The only things i didn't have coupons for were the bacon bits and ranch seasoning.
If you haven't tried the coupon game yet, i encourage you to do so. You can really score some great deals at times. It definitely helps the budget out!

9 Months!

I can hardly believe its been 9 months already! We has pictures done this past Wednesday and didn't fail to make us work for any smiles! She seems to be in this sober stage. When someone talks to her she just stares at them and won't even begin to crack a smile. Not so handy when you're trying to get pictures!

Our weekend

This past weekend we headed off to Hobe Sound to visit with friends and family. My good friend Christie and her family are down for a week so we were able to get to see each other again! Its been waaaaay to long since we had a good visit! We also were able to spend some time with Andy's grandparents.
In the picture above; Andy would make the duck suction to Chastity's forehead and she thought it was so funny.

Spending some time at the beach was a lot of fun. This was Chastity's 1st beach trip. She was okay with it as long as she wasn't in water!

Yesterday a friend and i were walking the mall and stopped of at the mall's play area for the kids. I finally let Chastity down to play and she loved it! Thot she was big stuff playing out there. She was soooo cute to watch. I have a little phobia about all the germs, but was able to get past that for a little while!

Birthday Girl!

I know this is a little belated, but thats okay since its to myself! Monday i celebrated the big 25! This one was a little rough for me. It means i'm only 5 years away from 30!!! YIKES!

The past year of my life has been very eventful. For those who may be interested, here are a few.

Celebrated 1st year of marriage to a wonderful man

Gained 60 pounds! OUCH!

Became a mommy!

Lost 50 of the 60lbs! YAY! Still workin on it though

Gained a sister-in-law

My little brother became a proud Marine

These are just some of the major events of the last year of my life. There are many little things that fill in all the gaps. I have been so blessed in many ways. I hope to have many more happy years ahead!
As for my special day; i was able to leave Chastity with my mother-in-law and meet Andy for lunch at Longhorn's steakhouse. Very yummy! It was a real treat to be able to spend some time alone with my sweetheart. It doesn't happen near enough lately! A baby has a way of monopolizing ones time.
Anyways, enough about ME!

Grieving Hearts

Brent Bigger passed away this past Wednesday. We are all broken over the incident. Please pray for the families of Brent. Only God is able to heal the hurt they are going through at this time.
